The internal flexible stainless-steel cable core has been injection moulded with a bespoke non-toxic, UV resistant, FDA approved flexible synthetic material. The Bombers moulded material has been uniquely developed, to ensure 3 key attributes; texture, durability and comfort. Especially good for the horse that objects to metal or when you have tried every kind of bit without luck. CHEEKPIECE - Curb Gag Loose Ring - This Loose Ring (LR) variation of the Curb Gag removes poll pressure, keeping the Curb Gag’s action to the curb strap with some leverage on the mouthpiece. The curb gag should be used with two reins, curb pressure is applied through the bottom rein which will lift the head. The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes, standard (Ø78mm) and a slightly smaller model for a pony (Ø66mm). Supplied with leather curb strap. The overall effects of the bit should be mutually supportive and guiding aids for the horse, as the horse will not be able to understand the rider’s use of conflicting / mutually exclusive aids. When using stronger lever bit, the rider should be aware of and understand the operation of the bits and their effects. The unpleasant pressure or pain caused by the bit always causes resistance in the horse, like the so-called an escape reaction in which the rider loses contact or control of the horse. This type of loss of control of the horse usually only results in the choice of an even stronger bit, although the situation would usually require a softer alternative. This process changes the blue colour of the Bomber horse bit to a brownish grey. If not used for a while, any build- up may be removed with a scourer and wiped with a damp cloth.
